    Description

    The Director of Legal Operations serves as the strategic and operational leader for Temple Health's Legal

    Department, driving operational excellence, process improvement, financial management, and technology

    optimization. Reporting to the EVP/Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel, this role partners closely with

    attorneys, business leaders, and support functions across the organization to enhance legal service delivery,

    manage outside counsel relationships and legal spend, oversee legal technology platforms, and support the effective

    administration of the Legal Department. The Director utilizes data, analytics, and industry best practices to improve

    efficiency, control costs, and advance the department's strategic objectives.

    This position is five days per week onsite at Chestnut Hill Hospital.

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree (Required) or
    • Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree (Required)
    • Doctorate Degree JD (Preferred)
    • Master's Degree MBA or Masters degree in accounting, financial, operations, administration or project

    management discipline (Preferred)

    Experience

    • 5 years relevant legal administrative and/or operations experience within a large, in-house legal

    department, large, sophisticated law firm or other professional legal environment. (Required)

    • Previous experience as a practicing attorney or equivalent operational, technology, and business leadership

    experience in a professional legal environment (Preferred)
