SALARY RANGE: $100,000-$120,000
THE ROLE:
The Director of Human Resources is the Cheerleader for the Talent. They will have a main focus on employee morale and will be responsible for managing all recruitment, hiring, benefits, training, payroll and employee relations. It is imperative for the Director of Human Resources to ensure the hotel is hiring the best talent through strategic staffing, ensuring this talent is receiving comprehensive training, creating a safe and productive work environment and acting as an operational business partner, process facilitator and change agent.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Responsible to complete all human resources functions in a timely, effective and efficient manner, to include: recruiting, hiring, payroll, benefits administration, leave of absence, worker’s compensation, employee relations, training and development.
Responsible to ensure Hotel compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Manage hotel and Human Resource strategy to develop a service oriented culture.
Conduct investigations and ensure compliance with company policies.
Direct and ensure the efficient administration and management of the Human Resources function.
Communicate employment, education, professional development, benefits, compensation and team member practices for the hotel.
Recruit, interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate team members
Manage the financial aspects of the department's budget
Foster a positive culture within the hotel to include leading by example and providing guidance and support to all management and hourly team members
Administer leave of absence paperwork and communication
Full-cycle Payroll
Other duties as assigned
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
3+ years of Human Resources Management experience required
Experience in a hotel environment preferred
Degree in HR or SPHR/ PHR Certification with experience preferred
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Previous experience with UltiPro preferred
