About the Job 

What we're looking for: 

An organized, strategic, and energetic Director of HR to join our fast-growing and dynamic team. 

What you'll be doing: 

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading and managing the organization's human resources strategy, operations, and programs. This role serves as a strategic business partner to leadership, ensuring alignment between people initiatives and organizational objectives. The Director of HR oversees employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, compliance, culture, and workforce planning while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. This position will require travel to other offices on at least a quarterly basis. Remote work will be available on an as-needed basis, but this position will be primarily in-office in our corporate location in Exton, PA. Specific duties to include: 

Strategic Leadership: 

• Partner with executive and operational leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals. 

• Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management. 

• Analyze workforce trends and metrics to drive informed business decisions. 

• Champion organizational culture, employee engagement, and change management initiatives. 

Workforce Planning: 

• Lead retention strategies to retain top talent. 

• Collaborate with leaders to identify current and future workforce needs. 

• Oversee employer branding, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts. 

Employee Relations & Performance Management: 

• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees regarding performance, conduct, and workplace concerns. 

• Direct employee relations investigations and resolutions while mitigating organizational risk. 

• Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and employment practices. 

• Oversee performance management programs and leadership coaching initiatives. 

Compensation & Benefits: 

• Partner with leadership to design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs. 

• Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness. 

• Oversee salary administration, incentive programs, and annual compensation review processes. 

Learning & Development: 

• Develop and implement leadership development and employee training programs. 

• Support career development, succession planning, and high-potential employee programs. 

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. 

Compliance & Risk Management: 

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. 

• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook content. 

• Manage audits, reporting requirements, and employment-related risk mitigation strategies. 

• Partner with legal counsel and leadership on employment matters as needed. 

HR Operations: 

• Oversee HR systems, records management, reporting, and process optimization. 

• Develop and monitor HR budgets and departmental goals. 

• Lead and mentor HR team members to achieve high performance and professional growth. 

• Drive continuous improvement across HR processes and employee experience initiatives. 

What you bring to the table: 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related business field required. 

• 7-10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.  

• 3-5+ years of leadership experience managing HR teams and programs. 

• Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership and driving strategic HR initiatives for a medium to large size organization, particularly in the private equity space.  

• Experience in employee relations, talent management, compensation, compliance, and organizational development. 

• Prior experience integrating acquisitions in a lead-HR capacity (preferred). 

• Ability to handle confidential information and use professional judgement.  

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer. 

• Ability to travel for meetings, training, or organizational events. 

• Ability to communicate effectively in person, virtually, and in writing. 

Certifications:

• SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional) or SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional) or SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources)
