Position: Director of Finance and Operations

Location: Los Angeles

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000

Schedule: 4 days a week onsite

Role Description:

We're partnering with a multi-strategy digital asset investment platform that is looking to hire a Director of Finance and Operations. You will own back office operations end-to-end across the firm's platform and run the operational side of the front office.This is a highly visible, partner-track opportunity reporting directly to the founding leadership team and helping build the operational infrastructure of a multi-strategy business. Leading and scaling the firm's finance, fund operations, treasury, investor operations, compliance administration, and trading operations functions is just the beginning for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Fund finance and reporting: audit, tax, and K-1 cycle across every entity
• Treasury and cash: capital calls, distributions, wires, banking, custody, and exchange relationships
• Management company finance: Budgeting, expense allocation across entities, accounts payable, payroll processing, and cost controls
• Investor opportunities: Subscription documents, AML/KYC, on-boarding and closing cadence for all vehicles
• Compliance and trading ops

Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in fund finance, operations, or compliance at a multi-strategy manager, fund of funds, allocator or fund administrator
• CFA, CPA, or equivalent
• Built, not just run: stood up a fund operations stack, reporting infrastructure, or a compliance program from scratch
• Sat thru operational due diligence
• Cross-asset fluency
