We’re seeking a passionate and inspiring Director of Education to join our leadership team at The Goddard School in Reading, MA. WHAT YOU’LL DO - RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead curriculum implementation and development and ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate educational practices.
- Coach and support teachers through lesson planning, classroom practices, assessment, and professional development.
- Drive collaboration and continuous improvement across the teaching teams.
- Foster a supportive, engaging learning environment for children, teachers, and families.
- Partner with Director of Operations and other leadership on staffing, scheduling, supervision, coverage, and day-to-day school operations.
WHAT YOU BRING – QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education (Required): Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- ECE Leadership Experience (Required): Minimum 3 years as a Director in a licensed Childcare Center
- Certification (Required): MA Director I or II Certification.
Full-time, year-round | Monday–Friday | Shared opening/closing shifts
Salary based on experience, education, and EEC certifications, plus annual bonus eligibility for EEC Director Qualified Candidates.
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
