Job Summary and Qualifications The Director of Clinical Operations manages the financial and clinical operations of assigned area(s) and recommends qualified competent persons to provide care . Integrates department services with the hospital's primary function . Coordinates and integrates services within departments . Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support provisions of services. Supervises nursing staff and assures staff competency. Develops, markets, implements, and evaluates new services and programs . Participates in outside source selection for needed services . Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies . Provides for orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for persons within nursing . Responsible acting Director for select nursing departments. Assumes the duties of the Associate Nursing Executive or Administrative Coordinator as assigned. What qualifications you will need: (RN) Registered Nurse Bachelors Degree Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills required .
