Director of Burn Program
Lead Clinical Excellence at a Premier Burn Center
Grady Health System is seeking an experienced Director of Burn Program to ensure clinical excellence, drive quality improvement, and maintain our burn center designation.
The Role
Working collaboratively with our Burn Center Medical Director and nursing leadership, you'll oversee program operations, compliance, and quality initiatives across the continuum of burn care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with State of Georgia, ABA, and American College of Surgeons standards
- Develop and maintain comprehensive PI programs using registry data and national best practices
- Provide operational oversight for burn registry team and programmatic requirements
- Achieve and maintain burn center designation/verification
- Build community and state partnerships related to burn care
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in complex burn patient care
- Manage business planning, budgets, and quality/safety initiatives
- Provide educational opportunities to internal and external stakeholders
You'll supervise: Burn PI Coordinator and Burn Program Registrar
Reports to: VP of Burn and Trauma Programs
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 8+ years experience in acute care, critical care, and burn care
- Georgia RN License, BLS, ABLS Provider
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- ACLS, ABLS Instructor, PALS Provider
