How you’ll make an impact:

We are seeking a Director of Creative Services to lead the operations, and execution of best-in-class creative across both the SiriusXM and Pandora brands. They will oversee a multidisciplinary internal creative team and external agency partners. This person will be responsible for supporting and optimizing an operating model that includes AI tools to help our creative teams move faster, produce smarter, and deliver work across all consumer-facing touch points and internal communications.

This role is accountable for the Creative Services department operating model and translates senior management priorities into multi-year departmental plans, operating objectives, budgets, staffing strategies, resource allocation decisions, and measurable performance outcomes.

The ideal candidate is both a creative partner and an operational architect: someone who understands how bold ideas are made, how creative organizations scale, and how to balance craft, speed, efficiency, and business impact. This person will lead creative services across campaign development, resource planning, production, agency management, creative workflows, budget governance, team effectiveness, and cross-functional delivery.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned creative leader with deep experience managing high-performing teams in media, entertainment, audio, streaming, technology, or consumer subscription businesses. This person brings a strong creative point of view, operational discipline, leadership presence, and the ability to translate business objectives into distinctive, effective creative work.

What you’ll do:

Creative Leadership & Brand Stewardship

  • Lead the creative direction for SiriusXM and Pandora across brand campaigns, performance marketing, lifecycle communications, social content, sales materials, event marketing and experiential activations.
  • Ensure all creative work is strategically grounded, culturally relevant, audience-focused, and consistent with SiriusXM’s and Pandora’s brand identity.
  • Establish departmental creative services objectives and operating standards that align with broader marketing and company strategy, and make final administrative and operational decisions within the function.

Production and Workflow Efficiency

  • Oversee the transition of legacy production workflows into agile, AI-assisted operations to drastically reduce turnarounds for creative assets and communications.
  • Drive creative modularity and personalization strategies that allow marketing communications to be easily adapted by audience segments and behaviors.
  • Provide oversight of the creative Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring assets are properly organized, tagged, rights-cleared, version-controlled, searchable, reusable, and integrated into AI-enabled creative workflows.
  • Own a multi-year creative operations and technology roadmap, proactively identifying improvements and charting the course for implementation across the Creative Services department.

Team & Agency Management

  • Lead an internal and external (agency partner) creative services team that includes creative directors, art directors, designers, copywriters, producers, editors and motion designers.
  • Lead the Creative Services department through people managers and creative leaders who are accountable for their own teams, disciplines, and delivery outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies, production partners, freelancers, and vendors. Determine when to leverage internal resources versus external partners, ensuring high-quality output, cost efficiency, and brand alignment.
  • Establish clear roles, workflows, standards, and growth paths while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and creatively ambitious culture.
  • Own department planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priorities, resource allocation, and changes to operating methods, balancing business demand, creative quality, and financial discipline.
  • Develop future leaders through coaching, succession planning, purposeful feedback, and expanded leadership opportunities for managers and senior creative talent.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted creative advisor to leaders and cross-functional partners across the company. Present creative concepts, campaign strategies, and performance learnings with clarity and confidence.
  • Influence senior leaders on matters significant to the organization, translating strategic priorities into departmental plans and gaining alignment on resources, operating approaches, and creative direction.
  • Balance business needs, stakeholder input, brand standards, and creative excellence.

Innovation & Cultural Relevance

  • Stay ahead of trends in entertainment, audio, streaming, design, technology, social media, fan culture, and consumer behavior. Bring fresh ideas that help SiriusXM and Pandora connect with existing and emerging audiences in distinctive ways.

What you’ll need:

  • Strong understanding of generative AI capabilities and risks across text, audio, voice, image, video, personalization, and campaign optimization.
  • Strong financial and resource management skills, including budget ownership, production planning, vendor management, and capacity forecasting.
  • Able to define a long-term creative operations and AI transformation vision while delivering near-term business results.
  • Focus on clarity, prioritization, process, measurement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
