    Role Overview

    Sodexo is seeking an experienced Director, Brand Management. The Director, Brand Management will be responsible and accountable for the marketing strategy and brand tactical activities for Priority Brands in North America (e.g. Modern Recipe and/or Kitchen Works) in alignment with NorAm regional growth objectives and global guidelines.

    Functionally, the Director, Brand Management leads the marketing strategy for the brand(s) in alignment with our North American business segment portfolio strategies. Segments include Healthcare, Campus, Corporate Services, Seniors, Schools, Sodexo Live! Government & Agencies & Energy and Resources. The executive works collaboratively with Segment Marketing, Sales leaders and Service Operations (SO) and will leverage our Global Key Processes, to ensure that all products are aligned with the company's business goals, client/consumer needs and deployable across all business dimensions. The ideal candidate is not just an effective leader with an appreciation for organizational behaviors, but also a marketing evangelist and visionary, capable of spotting trends and setting long term brand goals.

    What You"ll Do

    • Brand Strategy: Support the VP Retail Marketing in the creation of NorAm brand differentiation strategies cross all areas of the business (category and culinary teams, sustainability, digital, loyalty) to build brand equity over a 3-year period.
    • Brand Development: Lead cross functional teams to deliver strategic development and refresh and renew efforts as outlined in brand strategy.
    • Marketing Mix: proactive management of Product, Pricing, Promotion, Place and People activities to ensure the marketing mix of the brand is optimized and responds to market trends and consumer data.
    • Seasonal Promotions Campaign Management: Identify target consumer and provide clear direction on all communication points for both client facing and consumer facing materials. Write clear creative briefs. Partner with digital marketing, communications, and creative services team to develop creative and execute content.
    • Annual Integrated Marketing & Communications Plan: Define and deliver annual marketing plan including B2C channels, in store product, pricing, and targeted promotional activations.
    • Performance Management: Monthly reviews of brand performance, utilizing insight to inform brand plans. KPIs: profitable revenue growth, revenue retention, client, and consumer satisfaction (NPS) and brand awareness/reputation
    • Partner with insight team to coordinate research to develop distinctive consumer insights, market / category understanding, and brand equity tracking
    • Go to market strategy: Partner with a broad group of cross-functional experts to orchestrate the development and execution of a comprehensive go-to-market plan across B2B channels.
    • Support operations and business development teams with tools and processes to drive brand excellence and growth

    What You Bring

    • All brand management work will need to be done in alignment with Segment Marketing strategies.
    • The executive works collaboratively with Segment Marketing and Sales and Operations leaders as well as Service Operations (SO) leaders.
    • Partner with the Insights team to ensure all roadmaps are rooted in client and consumer insights. Drive a culture of insights-based selling by aiding the Insights team in ensuring the voice of the consumer is included in all discussions in the organization. Utilize customer insights, pricing and product analytics (proprietary and external) data to inform product roadmap decisions that deliver on customer needs, end user improvements and differentiate products from competitors.
    • Lead, coordinate and inspire cross-functional collaboration between product managers, product developers, UX/UI designers, analytics and marketers with a focus on customer experience and growth. Unite the team towards a common goal and ensure seamless partnership and integration of marketing, product, service operations and technology assets.
    • Develop an ongoing connection with Digital, Innovation, and Data teams to ensure knowledge sharing amongst Subject Matter Experts
