Paying $18/hour during waking hours and $11/hour for sleep shifts.\n \nWhy you'll love working with us \n\n Paid training and career growth opportunities \n Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\n Work that truly matters \u2014 helping people live with dignity and independence \n Veteran-friendly employer \u2014 we value your service and skills \n \nWhat you'll do \n \nAs a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities \u2014 both at home and in their community \u2014 helping them live as independently as possible. \n \nYour work may include: \n\n Supporting individuals with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care (i.e. grooming, hygiene etc.), or transportation \n Encouraging participation in social and community activities \u2013 shopping, social events etc. \n Helping people achieve personal goals and celebrating progress \n Promoting choice, independence, and self-advocacy \n Accurately documenting care, activities, and progress \n Communicating with team members to ensure consistent, quality support \n \nWhat you need \n\n High school diploma or equivalent \n Successful background check and required training \n At least 21 years old\n Med Cert 1\n Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance (primary or secondary) \n Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communities \n Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact \n \nPreferred Qualifications \n\n Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and/or autism, including implementation of the Individual Service Plan (ISP)."\n* Experience using foundational behavior-support strategies such as redirection, visual prompting, and environmental modification. \n \nCaregivers must comply with state background screening requirements.
