    UCPSA Direct Care Worker/Caregiver
    Wage: $17.00/hour
    Hours: Full and part time hours are available to you!

    Job Duties
    Here are some of the ways our DCWs support our clients and their unique needs.
    Personal Care (assistance with bathing/toileting/general grooming etc.)
    Meal Preparation
    Medication Administration
    Housekeeping (laundry, dishes, vacuuming, cleaning personal spaces etc.)
    General Supervision
    DCWs also can provide respite services to clients that include similar tasks. This allows the primary caregiver (typically a family member) to take a break from their duties while knowing their loved one is cared for in their absence. 
    Adhere to a weekly schedule with good attendance and punctuality 
    Complete and maintain required certifications and trainings
    Adhere to all agency policies and requirements 

    Requirements
    18 years of age or older
    Ability to travel independently to client’s visits
    Ability to obtain a FA/CPR certification 
    Ability to obtain Tuberculosis clearance
    Successful fingerprint and DES/CPS/APS clearance
    Ability to work without direct supervision
    Ability to lift 50 pounds and meet the physical requirements of caregiving

    Preferred
    Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field
    Availability on weekday afternoons/early evenings and weekends
