Digital Product Manager III

5-month contract to hire
Pay Rate: $70.00 to $76.00 per hr.
We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager to join a small, collaborative team supporting Open Banking initiatives. This role will focus on developing and supporting products and capabilities that enable secure connectivity between the bank, third-party financial-data aggregators, and business/treasury customers. The Product Manager will work with aggregators to transition screen-scraping traffic to the bank's APIs, enable aggregators to bring data into the bank, and partner with internal teams to make Treasury Management APIs available to customers using ERP, accounting, and business-management systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong Product Management background and financial services/banking experience. Direct Open Banking experience is not required and can be learned on the job.
Responsibilities
- Manage digital/Open Banking product initiatives.
- Define product requirements, epics, and features.
- Partner with Product Owners, Product Analysts, technology teams, and other Product Managers.
- Collaborate across Digital Servicing and lines of business.
- Work with teams that may own the actual development.
- Build business cases and presentations to communicate product value.
- Participate in feature discovery, demos, partner meetings, and product discussions.
- Independently manage initiatives while incorporating stakeholder feedback.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree + 7 years relevant experience OR high school diploma + 11 years relevant experience.
- Strong Product Management background.
- Financial services/banking experience MUST HAVE.
- Strong understanding of banking products and capabilities.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Digital product experience.
- API knowledge/experience.
- Business-case development.
- Experience working across multiple product channels/lines of business.
- Jira and strong Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
