DHHS MS Power Platform Developer

Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, and a minimum of 7 years' experience in MS Power Platform development, PowerApps, Dataverse, SQL, and related skills. - Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook), Azure services, SQL Server, REST APIs, and third-party systems.

Job Summary (List Format):

- Serve as Microsoft Power Platform Developer for the Division of Public Health, primarily supporting the Health Hazard Control Unit (HHCU) within the Environmental Health section.
- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Automate business processes and workflows to improve efficiency and replace manual operations.
- Build and optimize Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, and logic for data-driven applications.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook), Azure services, SQL Server, REST APIs, and third-party systems.
- Develop custom connectors, forms, and data models to support business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, workflow failures, and performance problems.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional technical solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, diagrams, and user guides.
- Adhere to best practices related to environment strategy, security, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and governance.
- Ensure compliance by working with security roles, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, and administrative processes.
- Utilize strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to deliver effective solutions.
- Preferred: Experience with Power BI, Power Pages, RPA/Power Automate Desktop, Azure DevOps/GitHub CI/CD, and holding Microsoft certifications such as PL-400 or higher.
