DHHS MS Power Platform Developer & Architect

Objective: Recreate and enhance a statewide billing system for establishments with food, lodging, pool, and tattoo permits, replacing an end-of-life software solution. - Platform: Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Dataverse, Power Virtual Agents), Dynamics 365, AWS-hosted SQL database.

Job Summary (List Format):

- Role: MS Power Platform Developer/Architect
- Objective: Recreate and enhance a statewide billing system for establishments with food, lodging, pool, and tattoo permits, replacing an end-of-life software solution.
- Platform: Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Dataverse, Power Virtual Agents), Dynamics 365, AWS-hosted SQL database.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data synchronization pipelines between AWS SQL and Dataverse.
- Extract facility census data for billing purposes.
- Automate invoice creation, email delivery, and payment tracking within Dynamics.
- Integrate online payment processing via PayIt, including automated payment reconciliation.
- Log and reconcile check payments within Dynamics, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Maintain all invoicing communications through a case management system, associating calls and emails to relevant records.
- Design and implement reporting systems for invoicing metrics and program performance.
- Establish and manage a robust Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in MS Power Platform development and implementation.
- Proficiency in PowerApps, Power Virtual Agents, and Dataverse.
- Strong knowledge of SQL database structure.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certification - Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or higher.
