Developer IV for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
Work location: Hybrid in Columbia, SC; onsite Tues, Wed, Thurs and as needed
Duration: 11 months
Terms: W2 Contract
Work authorization: US Citizen; must hold current/active low-level (Public Trust) clearance.

Responsibilities: - Support the TRICARE T5 and VA CCN lines of business and ensure sustained operational stability across these environments.
- This role requires advanced technical expertise to maintain and enhance several critical integrations and secure data exchange processes that directly impact contract performance, compliance, and delivery timelines.
Required Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related field;
- OR 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
- OR 4 years of job-related work experience.
Required Work Experience:- 6+ years of application development, systems testing or other job related experience.
Required Technologies:- SFTP
- SecureFX workflows
- SFTP operations involving Tomcat, Java based scripting, VShell, and automated SFTP clean up processes
- Oracle Java JRE management
- Sterling Connect: Direct file transfer configuration and support
- Splunk monitoring, alerting, and log analysis capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:- Windows Server administration and troubleshooting

- Sterling MFT
Soft Skills: - Strong understanding of applications/development, quality assurance and integration methodologies, concepts and facilities in a mainframe, midrange, and/or PC/LAN environment.

- Demonstrates logical abstract thinking and assimilating/adhering to project goals and deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
