Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Irvine, CA. This role involves building robust enterprise applications, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring seamless system performance.
Rate Range: $45/Hour to $48/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Core Java and advanced Java concepts.
Develop and optimize Sybase database objects, including stored procedures, queries, and performance tuning activities.
Deploy, configure, and support applications on the Payara Application Server, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver scalable applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and production issues while ensuring minimal business impact.
Participate in code reviews, performance optimization, and implementation of best practices for application development and maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
10+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development, including Core Java and advanced Java concepts.
Strong experience working with Sybase Database, including query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Hands-on expertise in deploying, configuring, and supporting applications on the Payara Application Server.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $48.00 per hour
