Title: Desktop Deployment Technician / Endpoint Deployment Technician 
Location: Baltimore, MD - 100% onsite
Contract Length: 12 months contract
Payrate: $22-$24/hr 

Overview

We are hiring multiple Desktop Technicians to support a large-scale endpoint modernization and device deployment initiative within a corporate enterprise environment. This project involves transitioning employees from a legacy virtual desktop environment to modern laptop and Windows 365 solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with Help Desk, Desktop Support, PC Deployment, or Technical Support experience who are looking to gain hands-on experience supporting a major enterprise technology rollout.

Key Responsibilities

• Image, configure, and deploy laptops and end-user devices
• Prepare hardware for new hires, refreshes, and enterprise-wide deployments
• Remove and replace thin clients, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
• Perform device setup, testing, and quality assurance checks
• Track equipment inventory and maintain accurate asset records
• Reclaim and process retired equipment
• Coordinate device deployments and end-user handoffs
• Support large-scale Windows 365 and endpoint modernization initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, Desktop Technician, or IT Support experience
• Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and support skills
• Experience with PC imaging, laptop setup, hardware deployments, or device configuration
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, or similar endpoint management tools
• ServiceNow experience
• Experience supporting users in a corporate or enterprise environment
• Participation in hardware refreshes, migrations, or large-scale technology rollouts

Note: Intune and SCCM experience are preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates with strong desktop support fundamentals and a willingness to learn.
