Relevant mechanical engineering experience designing gas turbine hardware or similar rotating machinery, specifically hot gas path components.

Support Design for producibility, lean flow, and concurrent engineering.
Support hardware qualifications for new processes, process changes, and new equipment.
Apply knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing to implement new ideas that enhance overall function of part, reduce cost, and add value.
Participate in Supply Chain Kaizens & Lean Action Workouts for proactive quality engagement in defect reduction and process improvements.
Support qualification guidelines, specifications, and top manufacturing issues.
Contribute to technology development and qualification of special processes such as castings, coating, and hole drilling.
Cultivate teamwork, a positive working environment, and morale; drive a sense of urgency and quality with speed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Preferred Skills:
Gas Turbine engineering experience, specifically Hot Section components.
Manufacturing experience.
Proficiency in lean manufacturing methods and statistical process control.
Background in HGP components, including NX, GD&T, ANSYS Classic.
Ability to build trust with team members and interfacing organizations.
Experience and familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes.

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, methods, materials, and coatings.
Previous non-conformance dispositioning experience of deviating hardware by applying mechanical engineering assessments.
Familiarity with FEA, Solid Modeling, Python, and other analytical tools.
Understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional global organization.

Experience with ANSYS Classic and Python coding.
