Job Title: Design Engineer
Job Description
This Design Engineer role is part of a multidisciplinary team that supports multiple product lines by designing new products and improving existing ones. You will work in a fast-paced environment, typically juggling two to three projects at a time, and may assist with test validation and the development of supporting documentation. The position focuses on mechanical and sheet metal design using SolidWorks and other CAD tools, with an emphasis on accuracy, manufacturability, and collaboration across functions.

Work Environment
The Design Engineer works within a team of approximately seven people in an office-based setting with occasional exposure to shop or field environments. The typical noise level is low to moderate, consistent with an office, but certain tasks may require hearing and eye protection when working near moving mechanical parts or in areas with vibration. At times, the role may involve exposure to wet or humid conditions and outside weather conditions when supporting activities around mechanical equipment. The work pace is quick, with frequent transitions from one project to another, and involves regular use of CAD software, engineering tools, and standard office equipment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
