Regional Travel Required ️ Bridge, Infrastructure & Complex Civil Projects  Full-Time Opportunity
Build Landmark Projects from Concept to Completion
Take ownership of high-impact design-build projects across the region.
This is more than a traditional PM role—you’ll be at the center of planning, design coordination, and construction execution, helping shape projects from early concept through final delivery. If you thrive in fast-paced environments where you can influence outcomes and drive results, this role puts you in the driver’s seat.
What You’ll Do
As a Design-Build Project Manager, you will:
  • Lead projects from pursuit through completion, including planning, budgeting, and execution strategy
  • Take ownership of project financials, managing budgets, minimizing risk, and protecting margins
  • Drive design-build coordination, ensuring alignment between engineering, procurement, and construction
  • Oversee procurement and proposal efforts, keeping projects moving from concept to contract
  • Develop and manage project work plans, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Conduct constructability reviews to identify risks early and improve execution
  • Coordinate across all stakeholders—owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Monitor progress, lead status meetings, and proactively address challenges
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards
  • Serve as the key point of accountability for project delivery and client satisfaction
Why This Role Stands Out
  • True Design-Build Exposure: Influence both design and construction—not just execution
  • High-Impact Projects: Work on complex infrastructure that shapes communities
  • Autonomy & Ownership: Lead projects with real responsibility and decision-making authority
  • Growth Opportunity: Be part of a team expanding its design-build capabilities
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of experience managing construction projects
  • 5+ years specifically in design-build delivery
  • Background in heavy civil construction (bridges, transportation, infrastructure preferred)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Project financials and cost control
    • Scheduling and resource planning
    • Construction means and methods
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive results
Key Traits for Success
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
  • Highly organized with excellent time management
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence teams at all levels
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
