About the Role:
Rajal J Patel DDS PA is looking for a friendly and organized Dental Office Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Orange, NJ. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a patient-focused dental team where your communication skills and attention to detail will make a real difference every day.



Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software
• Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to clinical staff
• Verify dental insurance eligibility and process billing and claims
• Collect co-pays and patient payments and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain and update patient records ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Coordinate patient flow and communicate with dental staff to minimize wait times

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting preferred
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
• Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor
• High school diploma or equivalent required
