About the Role:
PDX Motors LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dealership Service Manager Assistant to join our team in Portland, OR! Responsibilities:
- Assist the Service Manager in overseeing daily service department operations
- Coordinate vehicle service appointments, repair orders, and technician workflow
- Communicate with customers regarding service status, estimates, and vehicle updates
- Support service advisors in managing customer inquiries and resolving concerns
- Monitor parts inventory and coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely repairs
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reporting using dealership management software (DMS)
- Help ensure service department compliance with dealership standards and manufacturer guidelines
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an automotive dealership or service department preferred
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians, and management
- Basic understanding of automotive repair processes and service operations
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
