Purpose of Position:
The Maintenance Technician provides repairs and maintenance for facility and warehouse
equipment. The Maintenance Technician is involved with diagnosing problems and preparing
records and reports for all maintenance activity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of facility and production machines
- Prepare records and reports for maintenance activity
- Provide scheduled and/or emergency repairs of production equipment
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic,
hydraulics, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- All other duties as assigned
