    About the Role:
    The Learning Experience – Riverton is looking for a passionate and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our growing team in Riverton, NJ! This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children every single day, helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.


    Responsibilities:
    • Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote early childhood development
    • Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for young learners
    • Monitor and support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
    • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities
    • Maintain accurate attendance records, daily logs, and developmental assessments
    • Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations
    • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to foster a positive team environment
    Requirements:
    • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
    • Prior experience in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is a plus
    • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
    • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
    • Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare regulations
    • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
    • Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth

    Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
