Database Administrator

Database Administrator - Charlotte, NC - Contract - $56-61 Per HR

This hybrid role requires four days onsite in Charlotte, NC, and one day remote. The position involves monitoring, event management, and service requests. Candidates should have foundational experience in network, systems, application, access requests, production support, or security engineering, and be capable of working independently. Familiarity with generic monitoring tools, infrastructure management software, security solutions, and archiving systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Open and manage triage bridge lines, updating boards and engaging teams as necessary.
• Maintain solutions in alignment with security, redundancy, and archiving strategies.
• Support client onboarding processes efficiently.
• Ensure high levels of system and infrastructure availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in network, systems, or application support.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in documentation and technical writing.
• Experience with event management and request fulfillment processes.
