Position Summary

We are seeking a Data Scientist to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data to support business decision-making. The role will focus on reporting, dashboard development, process automation, and delivering actionable insights using tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.

Develop and maintain recurring business and management reports.

Design interactive dashboards and visualizations using MS Power BI.

Build data models, measures, calculated columns, and reports in Power BI.

Use MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, reconciliations, pivot tables, formulas, and ad hoc analysis.

Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and data processes.

Develop automated workflows, templates, and reporting solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Monitor data quality and investigate discrepancies or unusual trends.

Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and meaningful insights.

Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

Collaborate with business, technology, and operations teams to support data-driven initiatives.

Document reporting processes, dashboard definitions, and automation procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related role.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard creation, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formulas, charts, and data validation.

Experience developing recurring and ad hoc reports for business stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to automate repetitive reporting and data-processing tasks.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other data-analysis tools.

Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehouse concepts.

Experience with Power Automate or other workflow-automation platforms.

Familiarity with statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling.

Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
