Description

Our client, a Energy Services company, is looking for a Data Entry Specialist (EHS Support) for their Austin, TX location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • This temporary role will support the completion of a data remediation effort by ensuring chemical information is accurately entered, reviewed, and processed. The successful candidate will help improve data quality, support compliance requirements, and reduce the administrative workload on Business Units.
  • The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large data sets, can maintain a high level of accuracy, and is able to work independently while meeting project deadlines
  • Enter, update, and maintain chemical-related data records.
  • Review information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Support chemical authorization and compliance-related workflows.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies through research and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Track progress and maintain records of completed work.
  • Follow established data governance, quality, and documentation standards.
  • Communicate effectively with EHS team members and Business Unit representatives.
  • Support additional administrative and data management activities as assigned.
 
Requirements:
  • Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, records management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience with data cleanup, validation, or migration projects.
  • Experience working with databases or enterprise applications
  • Years of experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, records management, data validation, or a related field. Experience supporting data cleanup, compliance documentation, EHS programs, or enterprise applications is preferred.
  • Relevant experience:
  • Experience entering, reviewing, validating, and maintaining records or large data sets. Prior experience with data cleanup, data quality checks, records management, administrative support, or compliance-related documentation preferred. EHS, chemical management, or regulatory support experience is a plus
  • Required Technical Skills:
