Job Description

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and maintaining scalable data management systems, building data pipelines, and developing predictive models and a proven ability to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.
• Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.
• Ensure systems comply with business requirements and industry practices.
• Integrate emerging data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
• Develop processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
• Create custom software components and analytics applications.
• Research new uses for existing data to drive business outcomes.
• Employ diverse languages and tools to connect and orchestrate systems.
• Collaborate with data architects, IT teams, and data scientists to align on project goals.
• Install and update disaster recovery procedures.
• Recommend improvements to enhance data reliability and quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical degree or related work experience.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, and MongoDB.
• Experience programming and/or architecting back-end solutions using Java or J2EE.
• Knowledge of data mining practices, algorithms, and applications of data.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with big data ecosystems and distributed processing.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and workflow orchestration.
