Data Center Technician

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician III (L3) to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of large-scale, high-performance data center infrastructure. This role requires advanced technical expertise in server hardware, networking, cabling, and data center operations. 

Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 12+ Months
Shift: Sunday - Wednesday 8pm - 7am

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and decommission enterprise server, storage, and network hardware.
Perform advanced rack and stack activities, including rail installation, structured cabling, power distribution, and hardware integration.
Diagnose and resolve hardware failures involving servers, GPUs, storage systems, networking equipment, and supporting infrastructure.
Execute firmware updates, BIOS configuration changes, hardware replacements, and system validation.

5+ years of experience supporting enterprise or hyperscale data center environments.
Strong knowledge of x86 server architecture, GPU-based systems, storage platforms, and enterprise networking equipment.
Experience with:
Rack and stack deployments
Structured copper and fiber cabling
Server diagnostics and hardware repair
Power distribution systems (PDUs)
Remote management tools (iLO, iDRAC, IPMI, Redfish)
