Join our client as a seasoned Data Center Chiller Technician III, where your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining and optimizing commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Based in Charlotte, NC, this on-site role offers you the opportunity to leverage your skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections of HVAC equipment, ensuring systems operate efficiently by cleaning coils, replacing filters, and lubricating components.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace faulty equipment, components, or wiring in systems including chillers, boilers, and rooftop units.
- Analyze chiller trend data to enhance system performance and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Manage warranty services by testing and verifying the functionality of HVAC systems.
- Lead retrofits and rebuilds of commercial HVAC systems, mentoring junior technicians in the process.
- Maintain accurate records of billing, inventory, and service reports, ensuring timely submission.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing detailed status updates and technical explanations as needed.
- Engage in continuous professional development through training programs and maintain necessary certifications.
- Uphold safety standards and workplace cleanliness, adhering to OSHA and company policies.
- Be prepared for potential travel, including some overnight stays, as part of the role.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Tech III: 5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED,
- Technical school HVAC certification or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Rotational emergency call support as needed.
- Possession of required licenses and EPA-approved Universal Technician Certification.
- Experience in the commercial HVAC industry and (mentoring junior technicians)-Preferred
- OSHA 10 certification within 90 days of hire (training provided during onboarding).
