This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, an interest in working with data, and an understanding of how artificial intelligence can enhance data analysis and business decision-making.
The Data Analyst will support data analysis initiatives, help translate information into meaningful insights, and explore opportunities to leverage AI tools to improve analytical processes. The position emphasizes both foundational data analysis skills and the ability to use AI effectively, critically evaluate its outputs, and apply responsible AI principles when working with data.
The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. They can think critically, communicate findings clearly, and recognize the importance of accuracy, data privacy, and responsible AI usage.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, discrepancies, and insights that support business decision-making.
    • Assist with preparing, organizing, validating, and interpreting data from various sources.
    • Use AI tools to support data analysis, improve efficiency, and explore new approaches to solving analytical problems.
    • Critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, validating results for accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
    • Apply responsible AI principles when working with data, including consideration of privacy, security, bias, and appropriate human oversight.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate business questions into actionable insights.
    • Assist with developing reports, visualizations, and other analytical deliverables.
    • Document analytical processes, methodologies, and findings to support consistency and understanding.
    • Work within a Microsoft Fabric environment and become familiar with the organization's data and analytics technologies.
    • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, analytical processes, and the overall usefulness of data.

    • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Foundational understanding of data analysis concepts and working with structured data.
    • Interest in artificial intelligence and its application to data analysis.
    • Ability to assess information critically and validate results rather than relying solely on AI-generated outputs.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to explain findings and analytical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, or related data analytics tools.
    • Academic, internship, or project experience involving data analysis, reporting, data visualization, or statistical analysis.
    • Experience using generative AI tools to support research, analysis, problem-solving, or productivity.
    • Familiarity with responsible AI principles, including data privacy, security, bias, and the limitations of AI-generated results.
    • Demonstrated curiosity about emerging technologies and their application to business analytics.
