Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs data collection, analysis, validation, cleansing, and reporting. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents ETL processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures. Extracts and analyzes data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites. Responds to data inquiries from various groups within an organization. Creates and publishes regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports. Documents reporting requirements and processes and validates data components as required. Requires experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software. Strong analytical and organizational skills also essential. Must possess expert level knowledge of MS Excel.

1. Explain what the scope of the work/project is? Project Overview, deliverables (what is this person responsible for).

a. Assist with pulling data from various sources to update scorecards, graphs, and trend reporting for leadership. Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and help automate reporting processes. Support Databricks and Lakehouse initiatives by identifying creative ways to access, refine, validate, and update data. Build new visualizations, interactive scorecards, and automated reporting tools to support leadership decision-making. Work on multiple scorecards and visual projects across the organization.

2. What does a typical day look like?

a. Building and updating scorecards, graphs, and Power BI dashboards. Responding to leadership data requests and KPI-related questions by analyzing contributing factors and providing insights. Consolidating information for weekly and quarterly performance rollups and reporting.

a. Positive and collaborative environment with weekly scorecard review meetings and bi-weekly leadership action plan meetings. Resource will work closely with the Continuous Improvement Leader while supporting broader leadership initiatives.

a. Monday through Friday, standard business hours. No overtime or on-call requirements.
