Data & Financial Analyst

Position Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Data & Financial Analyst to join a growing Accounting and Finance organization as the team continues to enhance its data, reporting, and analytical capabilities.

This position will work with financial and operational data from across the organization to improve how information is collected, organized, analyzed, and presented. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and technical aptitude, an interest in finance and business operations, and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights that support leadership decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Support ongoing data transformation and financial analytics initiatives within the Accounting and Finance organization.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data from multiple sources.
• Assist with the development and improvement of financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, variances, patterns, and actionable business insights.
• Help improve the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of financial and operational data used for reporting and decision-making.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and cross-functional teams to understand reporting and analytical needs.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and ad hoc reporting.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives designed to create more efficient and scalable reporting.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable information for finance and business leadership.
• Participate in broader initiatives focused on strengthening the organization's use of data, analytics, and business intelligence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Entry-level candidates and recent graduates with strong analytical experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Excel skills with an interest in working with large or complex datasets.
• Exposure to analytical tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Databricks, or similar technologies is preferred but not required.
• Foundational understanding of financial statements, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or business performance metrics.
• Ability to organize and interpret data and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to grow within a collaborative Accounting and Finance environment.
