Cybersecurity Operations Manager | Fort Mill, SC

$150,000-$175,000 Base + Bonus | Full-Time | Onsite

Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Manager to lead security operations, cyber defense, and incident response within a complex enterprise environment.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a cybersecurity professional who can combine technical security expertise, incident response leadership, team management, and strategic problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead Security Operations, Cyber Defense & Incident Response
• Serve as a key leader during cybersecurity incidents and drive response and remediation
• Lead, mentor, and develop cybersecurity professionals
• Stay hands-on with security tools, threat detection, monitoring, and response
• Identify security gaps and improve security processes, controls, and capabilities
• Oversee performance and KPIs for a 24/7 offshore SOC
• Partner with Security Engineering, Networking, IT, Operations, and business leadership
• Help develop security strategy, technology roadmaps, and AI security capabilities

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of cybersecurity/information security experience
• 5+ years of security leadership or management experience
• Strong background in Security Operations, Cyber Defense, and Incident Response
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, threat detection, network security, and security monitoring
• Experience managing MSSPs, SOC providers, or other third-party security services
• Strong people leadership and cross-functional communication skills
• Ability to explain how you've implemented security technologies and solved real-world security challenges
• Collaborative, business-minded leadership style

Specific security tools or certifications are not required - we're more interested in what you've actually done and how you've applied cybersecurity technologies to protect an organization.
