Customer Support Technician

Performs mechanical assembly, system build activities, material handling, and site support functions while adhering to established quality, safety, and operational procedures. Responsibilities: Supports the assembly, installation preparation, and movement of semiconductor equipment and components in a customer FAB or field operations environment.

Our client, an Energy Services company, is looking for multiple Customer Support Technicians for their Phoenix, AZ location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Supports the assembly, installation preparation, and movement of semiconductor equipment and components in a customer FAB or field operations environment.
• Performs mechanical assembly, system build activities, material handling, and site support functions while adhering to established quality, safety, and operational procedures.
• Perform mechanical assembly and subassembly of equipment, modules, and components.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete assigned work.
• Read and follow work instructions, engineering drawings, procedures, and checklists.
• Support equipment staging, installation preparation, material movement, and site readiness activities.
• Assist with equipment levelling, alignment, and basic mechanical adjustments.
• Verify component quality and identify discrepancies or defects.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies.
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Work collaboratively with manufacturing, engineering, logistics, and field teams.

 
Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, equipment assembly, field operations, maintenance, or related technical environments.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials consistent with job requirements.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or semiconductor equipment environments.
• Experience supporting equipment installations or manufacturing builds.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, or electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
