Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting and assisting the sales team in processing orders, inventory management, and vendor quotes to support customer needs. SURESTAFF is hiring a Customer Service Representative for a packaging client in Elgin, IL. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting and assisting the sales team in processing orders, inventory management, and vendor quotes to support customer needs. The Customer Service Representative has excellent communication, is very organized, and has a great attitude.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members!  All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($21-24/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts include: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

• Processing customer and vendor purchase orders
• Inventory management
• Vendor requests for quotes (RFQ's)
• Customer quotations
• Fulfilling customer needs to ensure satisfaction
• Various other clerical duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3+ years of experience in customer service or a related field
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Organization and time management skills
• Previous clerical/business experience preferred
