Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our busy Allstate office. In this role, youll be the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance with their home, auto, or business insurance policies. Your responsibilities will include answering inquiries, processing policy changes, assisting with claims, and ensuring that every client receives the best possible service.

Salary Range: $32000.00 - $75000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities


Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries regarding homeowners, auto, renters, and commercial insurance policies.


Assist customers in understanding their policies, coverages, and options for renewals, endorsements, and changes.


Process policy updates, cancellations, and reinstatements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.


Provide support to clients through the claims process, from filing to resolution, offering guidance and updates along the way.


Help customers resolve billing issues and explain payment options and plans.


Maintain accurate customer information and case details in our system.


Collaborate with insurance agents, adjusters, and underwriters to ensure the best possible outcome for each client.


Identify opportunities to recommend additional coverages or policy adjustments that meet the clients needs.


Stay up to date with Property & Casualty industry changes, coverage options, and regulatory requirements.



Requirements

Previous experience in Property & Casualty insurance or a customer service role is highly desirable.

Active Property & Casualty insurance license (or willingness to obtain it within a specified time frame).

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a simple, approachable way.

Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Comfortable using insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite (or similar).

A proactive, customer-first mindset with a passion for helping people.
