Customer Service/Data Entry - Waxahachie

NextStep Recruiting is requiring two immediate long-term contractors (potential for contract-to-hire) for our manufacturing/distribution client in Waxahachie, TX.

You report to the Customer Service Supervisor at our client's facility in Waxahachie and work alongside a small, experienced CS and inside-sales team. You will use their ERP, email, and phone systems; training on their building supplies product lines is provided. Our client is looking for:

• 1+ years of customer service or order-entry experience in manufacturing, building products, or distribution.
• Proven ability to enter complex product data accurately at speed (keyboarding 50+ WPM, close attention to detail).
• Reliable, deadline-driven work style with professional phone and written communication.
• Basic Excel/ERP comfort; willingness to learn product codes and processes.
• Stable, family-oriented manufacturing culture with regional plants and real product you can see and understand.
• Clear path to grow into inside sales, order management, or plant coordination as the business expands.
• Waxahachie location with a straightforward commute and a team that values reliability

You will work with a fantastic manager/mentor. Target pay rate for this role is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. doe. This role is 100% onsite, M-F, so a commute to Waxahachie must be convenient.
