We are a growing specialty construction contractor focused on retaining wall construction, earthwork, and site development projects throughout the DFW Metroplex. Our crews build gravity and mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining wall systems for commercial, infrastructure, and development projects.

Job Details

The Field Service Mechanic provides on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair support for construction equipment operating on active projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role involves daily travel using a company-provided service truck.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites throughout the DFW Metroplex to inspect, service, and repair equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues. (i.e: skid steers, compact excavators, fleet maintenance)
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Support project teams by minimizing equipment downtime.
• Maintain service records and communicate repair needs to management.
• Ensure company equipment remains safe, reliable, and job-ready.
• Operate and maintain a company-provided service truck.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing construction or heavy equipment.
• Experience with skid steers, compact excavators, loaders, and similar equipment.
• Experience with fleet tracking software
• Ability to work independently in a field environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
