    Job Title: Critical Facilities Engineer – Data Center Infrastructure
    Location: Montvale, NJ (Onsite – No Remote)

    Job Description:
    We are seeking an experienced Critical Facilities Engineer to join a high-performance facilities team supporting a secure, enterprise-grade data center in New Jersey. This facility operates 24/7/365 and requires a detail-oriented professional who understands the importance of uptime, safety, and precision in a mission-critical environment.

    Responsibilities:
    • Operate and maintain critical building infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, CRAC units, chillers, and electrical switchgear
    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across all major systems
    • Monitor systems using BMS and alarm panels; respond promptly to faults and alerts
    • Conduct daily facility walkthroughs, complete logbooks, and report operational status
    • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
    • Follow all SOPs and EOPs to ensure safe and compliant operations
    • Assist with vendor coordination, inspections, and system upgrades
    • Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response as needed
    Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of experience in facilities or building engineering, preferably in a data center, telecom hub, or critical infrastructure setting
    • Strong working knowledge of:
    •  UPS systems and PDUs
    •  Standby generators and ATS/STS systems
    •  HVAC/CRAC units
    •  High- and low-voltage electrical systems
    •  Familiarity with BMS or DCIM platforms (Honeywell, Tridium, Schneider, etc.)
    • Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
    • Excellent documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills
    • Must be available for rotating shifts or on-call emergency support
    • EPA Universal Certification or NFPA 70E training preferred
    • NJ Black Seal or Stationary Engineer license is a plus
     
    Compensation: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
