QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of professional automotive repair experience require.

 

Welding experience preferred but not required.

 

Strong diagnostic ability

 

Experience working on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.

 

Ability to work independently, have strong work ethic, and have a professional attitude.

 

Clean, organized work habits and able to follow shop procedures.

 

Comfortable using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and repair information systems.

 

Valid driver’s license.

 

Own tools required.  Scanners and specialized tools will be supplied for you to use.

 

ASE certifications are a plus,

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an experienced technician who can diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues accurately and efficiently, including:

.  Advanced diagnostics
.  Electrical testing and wiring issues
.  Check engine light diagnostics
.  Drivability problems
.  Brake, suspension, steering, and alignment work
.  A/C diagnostics and repair
.  Factory-scheduled maintenance
.  Engine- and transmission-related diagnostics and repairs
.  Digital vehicle inspections and recommended maintenance and repairs


You must be able to properly diagnose problems, communicate findings clearly, and perform quality repairs correctly the first time.

 

Thoroughly inspect vehicles and identify safety, maintenance, and reliability concerns.


Use scan tools, testing equipment, wiring diagrams, and service information to perform accurate diagnostics.


Communicate findings clearly with the service advisor through detailed inspection notes.


Recommend needed repairs based on vehicle condition, testing results, manufacturer recommendations, and safety concerns.


Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship.


Test-drive vehicles when needed to verify customer concerns and confirm repairs.


Keep your work area clean, organized, and professional.


Follow shop procedures, safety standards, and quality-control practices.


Be comfortable with customer communication when needed.
