Job Title: Credit & Collections Specialist
Location: Kennesaw, GA
Pay Range: $23 - 27/hr, W 2
Duration: 6 Month Contract
This position has a hybrid work arrangement with scheduled days in the office combined with days available to work from home, after initial training.
Summary:
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, drive collection efforts, and resolve complex customer issues related to billing, pricing, cylinder discrepancies, and cash applications.
Act as a consultant to identify credit risks and maintain strong customer relationships.
Position includes a hybrid work arrangement after initial training.
Responsibilities:
Prioritize portfolio to maximize collection benefits and secure timely remittances.
Contact customers regarding past-due invoices and obtain future payment information.
Identify account risks, spot AR trends, and monitor for indicators of delinquency.
Perform routine reviews and releases of sales orders.
Create, investigate, and resolve disputes from initiation to final resolution.
Maintain quality relationships with branch managers, account managers, and other stakeholders.
Escalate significant matters to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and up.
Maintain meticulous records of all conversations, emails, and follow-up actions.
Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in customer experience analytics, credit & collections analytics, financial or operational reporting, or business/data analytics.
Demonstrated experience creating reports, dashboards, and analytical insights.
Hands-on experience with large datasets and translating data into actionable business insights.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines independently.
Preferred Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Analytics, or Engineering-related field.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling).
Working knowledge of Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to train, coach, and support end users on tools and processes.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
