This internship offers hands-on experience and exposure to corporate accounting at a Fortune 500 company. The Credit Intern helps oversee business-to-business Credit and Collections activities for a defined portfolio of customers.Summary of ResponsibilitiesExecute and document credit reviews of new and existing customers. Perform detailed financial statement analysis and credit report interpretation. Establish appropriate credit limits.Monitor and manage customers Accounts Receivable balance to set credit limits and terms of sale.Develop customer relationships to drive improved payment behavior.Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives with delinquent customers.Collaborate with other internal departments to resolve routine and complex problems.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsEnrollment in Bachelor of Science program in Accounting Finance or other Business-related fieldMust have completed at least sophomore year of study by the summer of 2027Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
