About the Role
This is a hands-on copywriting seat inside the in-house brand creative studio of a major global streaming and entertainment company. The studio covers strategy, design, production, and program management, and its current strength sits in AV and stunt work. What is missing is the functional writing layer: the billboard that refreshes weekly, the banner, the paid social unit, the tagline, and the messaging toolkit that teaches other writers how to extend the idea. This person fills that gap, carrying one major campaign in focus while cycling one or two others alongside it.
The ideal candidate is a senior individual contributor whose portfolio leads with headlines, wit, and a genuine command of a turn of phrase. They have written across multiple registers for a brand with a distinctive, consistent voice, and they know how to document their thinking so other writers can extend the work in their own markets. They are collaborative, positive, and comfortable sharing work early in a team that workshops together and takes humor seriously.
Key Responsibilities
1. Write headlines, taglines, and short-form copy for large-scale 360-degree brand campaigns across out-of-home, digital banner, paid social, internal communications, and brand storytelling
2. Architect messaging frameworks and toolkits that expand a high-level creative platform into a modular system other writers can use and extend
3. Document the thinking behind the work, including how a headline was reached, what the mechanics are, and how another writer can apply it in a different market
4. Flex voice campaign to campaign, moving between playful, witty, cinematic, and straight registers depending on the program
5. Partner with brand strategy to turn briefs into creative and with design to keep voice consistent across all marketing communications
6. Work across cross-functional pods including social, ads marketing, product marketing, title marketing, communications, and marketing operations
7. Absorb a steady volume of fast-turn assignments without dropping quality on the tentpole campaigns running in parallel
