Required Education Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field or equivalent Experience 3 years of experience in patient care setting and/or human resources administration May consider years of experience in lieu of education.
Recruitment Operations of Centralized Services - Patient Access Maintains dedicated relationship with UTSW Human Resources Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure smooth communication and program success. Reviews all incoming applicants to determine appropriate next steps for each candidate in both technical and personal attributes. Conducts initial phone screening to determine interest and best fit; schedule subsequential interviews on behalf of Patient Access Leadership. Participates in candidate interviews to make recommendations to hire, including in person, virtual, and hiring fair models. Understands the unique needs of each team and workflow to optimize new hire placement. Completes all necessary steps for UTSW Position Control Process to optimize budgeted positions and minimize any lag in the recruitment process. Maintains good knowledge of UTSW hiring practices and policies.
Onboarding Operations of Centralized Services - Patient Access Conducts all new hire communications prior to their first day to ensure successful onboarding logistics. Coordinates and schedules new hire training, as well as requests to appropriate system access, tools and resources. Acts as the new hire liaison for the initial 2 weeks of hire to confirm that the employee training schedule, equipment, securities, and reporting structure are aimed for success.
Personal Attributes Skillfully uses a high level of emotional intelligence in order to determine candidate success. Maintains high level of customer service to all internal and external customers. Provides leadership and guidance to onboarding staff, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration. Collaborates with internal peer stakeholders, such as CSA Career Development Program and Ambulatory Training Teams, to ensure success for candidate onboarding to UTSW operations. Collaborates with Ambulatory Operations and other Departments on strategic projects.
