Position Summary: The Counsel position is a key member supporting the organization's legal needs by managing the contracts team, overseeing legal-related processes, and assisting the General Counsel in providing legal advice to business stakeholders.Your Contributions & ResponsibilitiesSupport the General Counsel in advising the organization on a variety of legal and contractual matters.Oversee and coordinate the work of paralegals, providing high‑quality support to partners and employees with preparation of client engagement letters, master services agreements, RFP responses, subcontractor agreements, Kovel agreements, NDAs, conflict waivers, and other vendor and client‑related agreements.Manage the organization's subpoena compliance and other court‑related matters, ensuring strategy and accurate information in the case management system.Review leases for the organization's premises across the country and/or oversee related work performed by staff or outside counsel.Manage the organization's intellectual property.Effectively manage outside counsel's use of time and resources in any outsourced legal matters.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Your Background & SkillsJuris Doctor degree with three (3) to seven (7) years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney at a law firm or as an in‑house corporate attorney. Must be a member in good standing with the bar in one U.S. state or territory.
