Counsel - Leveraged Finance

Our AmLaw 100 client, recognized globally for its bold legal strategies and high-caliber deal execution, is seeking an Of Counsel attorney to join its Leveraged Finance practice in New York City. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership-level role at a top firm known for its expansive platform, elite client base, and collaborative culture.

• First lien, unitranche, stretch senior, second lien, and subordinated loans
  

• ABL facilities, subscription, and NAV facilities
  

• Structured equity investments and non-traditional preferred stock financings
  

• Equity co-investments and debt capital markets transactions
  

The ideal candidate brings at least 9 years of leveraged finance or related transactional experience (private credit, structured finance, or fund finance). This is a front-facing, client-driven role with ample leadership responsibility and upward mobility.

• JD from a top-tier law school
  

• Admitted to practice in New York
  

• Deep transactional experience from an AmLaw 100 firm
  

• Strong business judgment and organizational skills
  

• Ability to lead deal teams and mentor junior associates
