As a Corrections Support Specialist 1-2, you will play a vital role in supporting critical administrative and operational functions within the corrections and parole process. Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR
A bachelors degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
This position is responsible for managing and maintaining parole documentation, including preparing detailed dockets and developing, uploading, and maintaining essential parole materials for panel review. Key responsibilities include preparing decision forms, minute sheets, and weekly hearing agendas, as well as ensuring the timely and accurate maintenance of records. You will also create, update, and modify data within IBM Notes and Cajun, maintaining accurate, organized, and accessible information to support effective decision-making and daily operations.

Appointment Type: JOB APPOINTMENT
Compensation: This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) at each level. However, the salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
SER for Corrections Support Specialist 1 is $17.34 per hour.
SER for Corrections Support Specialist 2 is $18.55 per hour.
