Reporting to the Director, Communications, the Communications Coordinator will support the day-to-day functions of the corporate communications vertical and provide administrative support to the entire communications department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: compiling and sending daily clips; assisting with the distribution of all media communications; handling credential and parking requests from media; working with seasonal associates on distribution list maintenance and media monitoring reports; assisting with proactive media pitching for business-related stories and events; and other written communications as needed.

This is a full time position. The Coordinator must be available to work in person in Washington, D.C.

Compensation:
The projected wage rate for this position is $24.44 to $26.44 per hour. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
