What You'll Do
As a Production Cook, you'll be responsible for large batch cooking that meets strict HACCP regulations and customer specifications for airline meal service. Your day-to-day will include:
Preparing entrées to meet the specifications of multiple airline customers
Planning and adjusting cycle menus
Reviewing production sheets to confirm accuracy and specifications
Preparing complex recipes according to established standards
Applying HACCP compliance and safe food handling practices
Working with cutlery, small wares, and kitchen equipment/machinery at an above-average skill level
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years of experience as a Cook in a high-volume institutional catering environment (food prep and fast food experience will not be considered)
Strong understanding of various cooking techniques and the ability to execute complex recipes
Ability to speak, read, and understand English
Willingness to work an assigned schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays, plus overtime as needed
Ability to pass a criminal background check
